The Sarova Panafric pays tribute to Pan-Africanism, the movement popular in the 1960s that brought about liberalization, a united hope and a new beginning for Africa. Inaugurated 37 years ago by one of the movement’s founding fathers and Kenya’s first President H.E. Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, the hotel would become home to themed cultural nights in a post-independence era that celebrated culture, food, music, and ideals.
